Medicines
We are happy to administer prescribed medication. Please initially speak to your key worker to inform her /him. You will then be asked to complete an appropriate form, these are held at reception and available from Hazel.
Guidance on Infection Control
Illness
If your child feels ill please do not send them to nursery. We always allow children 24 hours before returning to nursery after vomiting or having stomach upsets. It is very important that you comply with this request, particularly as the centre is attended by very young children more susceptible to infection. Please remember that if your child is not well enough to play outside, they are not well enough to come to school.
Accidents Sometimes children are ill or have accidents in the centre. If your child has an accident, a report will be completed which will be given to you when you collect them. Should they become ill and require to go home, we will contact you. Should an accident occur that requires hospital treatment, we will contact you immediately. This is one reason we need an emergency telephone number, and require you to inform us immediately if this number changes.. |
